What is the context of this campaign?

The foods we eat play a consequential role in determining our health and well-being. However, sometimes food choices that we believe to be health-promoting are quietly riddled with chemicals, pesticides, and other contaminants. These unwanted additions can cause acute health problems—such as suboptimal mental or physical performance, or longer term health problems like disease and cancer. The worst part is we don't know how "clean" or "dirty" a product is until it's tested.

What are the goals of this campaign?

Food manufacturers are not required by law to disclose the amounts of contaminants in their food products. We would like to know the actual levels of unwanted biological materials in Pumpkin Spice, including pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and other items which may have a consequential role in our health. With this knowledge, we'll be better equipped as consumers to decide how much of this product we'd like to incorporate into our's and our family's diets.
